Yes glock has been around longer so its "proven" but what came down to me going with a Staccato c2 is that it checks every thing on my list out the box. I won't have to touch anything on the gun until I get bored and want to tinker with it. Big things for me was having a safety, weight, and a specific optic mount. 2.I don't think the XC is worth the price tag. You're getting tighter finish and a integrated comp for 2k more than a P or C2. I personally sold my XC and got a P instead and carry a C2 daily. But considering you can get it for 3600 makes it a bit more reasonable. I'd still stick with a C2 just because it's more versatile. The Staccato Cs has been my first 2011 style pistol. I would say it depends on what you're used to concealing. The Wilson is thinner and over an inch shorter in height, it will conceal better. The Cs isn't that small and I'm likely selling mine. It has a subcompact barrel with a height taller than a Glock 17 which makes zero sense for me.

FuriousFox33. One of the better rolls for this scout. Not 100% sure it's better than EP on it, but when the scorch stacks get going it's pretty good. The base stats are really bad compared to a Hung Jury, but it still feels decent. The blue 200rpm Madrugada SR2 might still be the best solar scout though ;)Seen some crooning about how sweet STI Staccato's are, and I have one on my local Armslist for $1600, new. TX-1911. Same boat here. Ideally on my SBR’s I’ve got a Aimpoint Acro and Steiner MPS. Work great but on a small footprint looks goofy. Tried a friends with the RMRcc and harder to find the dot. The Holosun was ok, but the SRO (looks a bit goofy but was great). Downfall is not as potentially durable as the RMR or RMRcc.Both the chunk port/genghis comp and the ports are fun to shoot. Just depends on what you're looking for. The monsoon port will feel softer to the shooter where the stacc-ports are more a progressive feel which tracks faster when compare to my Omni (which feels similar to the chunk port).

A $2500 gun is the least of my worries if I have to use it in self defense. Trigger. So let’s talk about the trigger on the Staccato P. They’re known to be hit or miss. This one is a polymer trigger and it is adjustable. I have not adjusted it from the factory setting. The trigger in the Atlas feels more tactile than the XC. Advantage Atlas, unless you prefer the feel of a duty (ish) trigger. To me, the atlas has just enough weight to feel deliberate but still incredibly smooth.
